Working and Learning together with Jesus as one family

Year 3

Year 3 continues to be engaged and enthused by learning and school life. Over the past week they enjoyed reading a new traditional Fairytale text in English called The Princess Blankets. Pupils have worked hard on writing retells of the story and using evidence based inference reading skills to explain how different characters are feeling using both words and the beautiful illustrations in the book.

In RE pupils have enjoyed learning about Moses and the story of Exodus and the significance and meaning this story holds for many people. Pupils were able to discuss the type of person Moses was based on the actions and events of the Exodus story.

In Geography pupils have learnt all about where their food comes from from origins of where it is grown to exports of how it is distributed. Pupils have been fascinated by the long journey’s and chains of people it takes to produce the food that arrives in our supermarkets and on our kitchen tables.

3AK continues to positively grow week by week, not only in their academics through their hard work and dedication but also in their values of kindness, love and respect. Keep it up Year 3, I am so proud of all aspects of your growth.
